Designed for long life and aggressive cutting action for concrete/asphalt crack chasing saws. Cutters can be stacked to vary the width of cut on typical router machines from 3/8” to 2” wide by staggering the cutter and spacer placement, from shaft to shaft around the drum, and sometimes stacking cutters on the shafts for increased widths. Must have the same number of cutters and spacers on opposite shafts to keep the drum rotationally balanced.
Usage may result in some spalling on the edges of the cut.
Cutters without the shoulder hub provide a more exact width of the cut in some staggering and stacking configurations as actual cut can be controlled by spacer width.
160367 - 3.63”OD x 1”ID without shoulder hub
160369 - 4.84”OD x 1”ID without shoulder hub
Cutters with shoulder hub are provide more aggressive cutting action with longer life on the shaft and cutter, as the contact pressures and stability of the cutter are increased with a wider shoulder hub.
160368 - 3.63”OD x 1”ID with shoulder hub
160370 - 4.84”OD x 1”ID with shoulder hub
The 6.50”OD cutter provides an increased depth of cut (typically up to 2” deep), and are staggered on the drum leaving every other shaft empty. 160371 - 6.50”OD x 1”ID without shoulder hub - Specs
